It is located to 3500 mts above sea level and it has a big glacier that it’s important for the country, but it’s becoming small because climate change. Its appearence is quiet and covered for snow, however it’s an active volcano that is producing gas and volcanic ash ocassionally. There is a lot of diversity of nature and animals like frailejones and andean birds.

Near to the Ruiz Snowy there are some interesting place to check out. In the Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados you can walk around the lagoons and enjoy beautiful landscapes., you must observe the animals.

The Termales del Ruiz is another interesting place, it’s a famous hotel in Colombia that has pools with warm water, Visitors can go there to relax and warm up in the hot pools while contemplate the beautiful mountains.

Finally, it’s the Murillo town, i’s famous for it’s amazing landscapes and it’s cold weather.
